Brick Transfer Systems

The transportation of brick is critical to keep the masons supplied with the material in a timely manner. We have developed and custom designed many different transportation devices that have saved many hours while increasing the safety of the workers. The solutions below are available to aid in the transportation of refractory brick:

Bedding Cart

A Bedding Cart is a work platform for refractory installers that has steps that allows placement of brick to the springline without the use of springboards or wood platforms. The Bedding Cart also is a storage area for refractory and rolls up kiln as work progresses. The Bedding Cart not only allows for the movement of bedding refractory as the bedding process progresses, but provides stair steps to facilitate the placement of refractory to or just above the spring line on larger kilns.

Brick Cart

The Brick Cart is used to transport a full pallet of brick in smaller kilns that don't allow for fork trucks or skid steer vehicles. It has angled wheels to match the curvature of the kiln and bypass walkways on both sides.

Belt Conveyor

An all-aluminum, modular conveyor system designed for portability, easy set up, and trouble free performance. The conveyor can be furnished with either electric or hydraulic drives depending on requirements for variable speed and power. These conveyors are continuous belts, but can be lengthened in 10 foot increments as the application demands.

Monorail System

This system allows for the overhead transportation of equipment or material when the pathway into the kiln is restricted.

Material Basket

Strong, lightweight aluminum-frame materials handling basket that will keep contents stable, secure, and contained. For carrying tools, machines, rubble, or up to two pallets of brick. Can be lifted or carried with crane or forklift.

Port-A-Trac

Light-weight, aluminum, modular rail-car system for transporting full pallets of brick into the kiln and under the Bricking Machine scaffold. Particularly useful with overhead clearances don't allow for passage of fork lifts.
