Multi-O-Ring (MOR)

The Mult-O-Ring is our most popular model. The MOR is a fixed diameter-bricking machine. The MOR is our most productive model because it is custom built to exacting inside brick dimensions and does not need to be adjusted. The MOR is a double arch machine, allowing for one row of brick to be keyed while the next row of brick is being installed. The MOR has 6" or 8"/200mm pneumatic cylinder stroke. This stroke allows the MOR to accommodate different brick thickness. The MOR is constructed of lightweight aluminum and can be assembled in 30 minutes once inside the kiln. It is manufactured in small components and can be handled by two people. The machine is designed to fit into limited access kilns.

The Problem:

The three main goals when installing brick in rotary kilns is quality, safety, and speed of installation. Unfortunately, these goals can sometimes be conflicting.

The Solution:

The MOR insures quality with pneumatic cylinders assisting in the precise placement of brick. By using the pneumatic cylinders to hold brick in place, there is never any unsupported, unkeyed brick overhead. Ergonomic design reduces fatigue and with it the chance of mental or physical errors ending in an lost time accident. The speed of installation is increased by the use of a double ring that allows the second ring to be installed while the first ring is being keyed out.

Justification:

ROI due to savings realized by increased kiln uptime, reduced maintenance costs, and a reduction in lost time accidents. Typically this ROI can be realized in one outage.

Features:

The MOR can be custom built for any diameter kiln from 10'-0" - 25'-0" (3.0m - 7.6m) and is best suited for singular diameter kilns or kilns with similar diameters. This is our best machine, offering ease of operation, easy assembly and production.

  • Double arch to allow bricking of two rings at once.

  • Cut away section in the up-kiln arch for easy access to keying area.

  • Ergonomic stair-step design to reduce bending while placing brick against the kiln shell.

  • Stair-step design also allows for maximum clearance under the machine to facilitate the transportation of brick to the bedding crew.

  • Lightweight aluminum construction for ease of assembly and handling.

  • Match marked and labeled for easy assembly.

  • 10,000 lb (4536 kg) scaffold capacity to hold two full pallets of brick.

  • Optional trailer attachment to increase workspace and storage area for second pallet of brick.
